Lana Grossa Ecopuno Tweed is a soft natural yarn made of cotton, baby alpaca wool and merino wool, perfect for knitting garments and accessories for Autumn – Winter fashion.

The lovely blend of natural yarns is truly captivating. Cotton combines its freshness with the warmth and silky hand of merino wool and baby alpaca, to create a breathable and light luxurious yarn with which fine sweaters, elegant shawls and comfortable knits for children and babies are made.
In fact, merino wool is known for its thermoregulatory properties, while alpaca wool, being lanolin-free, is hypoallergenic. Both wools are also incredibly smooth to the touch, so they don't pinch the skin and are very pleasant to wear. The polyester thread binds the wool and cotton together, and increases the strength and brightness of the yarn.

Lana Grossa Ecopuno Tweed comes in delightful, slightly mottled balls, which will give your knit and crochet work that fantastic, rustic tweed effect, typical of Irish sweaters. The particular chain structure of this yarn increases its airiness: it will be beautiful to knit or crochet because it slides easily on needles and hooks and gives an excellent definition of stitches.

• The lace knitted shawl measures 151 x 107 cm and requires 7 yarn balls.
• The baby knitted hat measures 36 - 38 cm approx. in circunference. You'll need 1 Ecopuno Tweed yarn ball and 1 Lana Grossa Cool Wool Lace yarn ball. You'll knit with the two yarns held together.
