Rowan Alpaca Classic is a wonderful natural yarn made of alpaca wool and cotton, perfect for Fall - Winter knitted and crochet patterns.

Its yarn balls are super soft and really nice to touch. This yarn has an airy and feather-like feature that comes from its peculiar structure. A light cotton grid is inflated with precious alpaca wool: the result is a light-weight and luxury yarn, very suitable for feminine and fine knitted or crochet clothes.
The noble fibers blend is highly transpirant while keeping you warm, and you can surely wear it next to skin.

Rowan Alpaca Classic is dyed and spun in Italy.
It is versatile and suitable for all knit and crochet patterns. Its warm and classic colors go very well with the Fair Isle technique, for flawless color knitting. Also, if you like lace stitches, try working it with larger needles than indicated. The result will be wonderful, both for sweaters and cardigans and for refined shawls and stoles.

• The knitted cardigan has an oversized fit. It is mainly knitted in stockinette stich and requires 20 to 24 yarns balls (S - XL size).
• The knitted sweater shows a delicate leaf lace stitch pattern, alternating with simple garter stitch. You'll need 20 to 24 yarn balls (S - XL size).
• The knitted triangular shawl shows different color blocks, each of them with a different knitting pattern. It measures about 182 x 83 cm and requires 9 yarn balls in total (starting from the shawl bottom: 3 for color 1 - 3 for color 2 - 2 for color 3 - 1 for color 4).
